Whitehaven to Tynemouth C2C
Fundraiser to celebrate a sculpture unveiling
Sustrans have commissioned local artist Ray Lonsdale to create a sculpture to mark the Tynemouth end of the Coast to Coast (C2C) cycleway using funding from the Newcastle Gateshead Initiative and the North East Combined Authority.
Given we regularly meet at the end of the cycleway near where the sculpture is due to be placed, our young people at Tynemouth Sea Scouts were asked to contribute to the design.

To celebrate the unveiling, we’re planning on cycling the 138 miles from Whitehaven to Tynemouth. If you’re interested in taking part and maybe raising a bit of money for your/ our Scout Group, email us by clicking on the link below.
